22 of the region’s high-growth potential tech businesses will be pitching at Venturefest SW on 17th June, Sandy Park, Exeter to an audience of investors and influencers.

Eight of the businesses through are at pre-seed stage of up to £250k, 10 are at seed stage of uptown £1m and 4 are at the £1m+ stage.

Companies developing tools for digital health feature prominently, alongside entertainment, fin-tech, agriculture and big data. All of the companies pitching are addressing real-world challenges including water shortages, environmental sustainability, food security, education, and advanced engineering.

Investors attending Pitchfest are invited to ask questions of the semi-finalists who will pitch live at Venturefest SW on 17 June from 9.30am to 11.30am. Three companies in each of the funding categories (up to £250k, between £250k and £1million and over £1million) will be selected for the final. An overall winner will then be selected by the panel and announced at 5pm. The event is hosted by UKBAA.
