Following the launch of Venturefest South West 2019, organisers of the major conference and science and tech showcase have announced the sponsors to date. The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), The University of Exeter, Plymouth University, Falmouth University, Michelmores LLP, the Exeter Initiative of Science and Technology (ExIST), Plymouth Science Park SETsquared, the South West Academic Health Science Network, the Environmental Futures and Big Data Impact Lab and Aerospace Cornwall have all backed the event. The one-day flagship event takes place on 17 June 2019 at Sandy Park, Exeter and will bring the leading lights of the South West’s tech industries together.

Over 800 businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and academics are expected to attend the event, which will showcase cutting edge innovation coming out of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Agri tech, Marine tech, AI & Big data, Creative, Blockchain, Environment, Space and Advanced Engineering, some of the region’s specialisms, are among the themes which will be explored during the day with 60 speakers and experts coming together to share their knowledge and experience in these sectors.
