Gabriel Aguiar Noury

Human-Robot Interaction Researcher, University of Plymouth.

Gabriel is a Mechatronic Engineer and former entrepreneur, now working on the development of innovation ecosystems for the assistive robotic market, through the creation of technological platforms. He is part of the Interreg EU project, AGE’IN, developing solutions to enable older people to improve their quality of life and stay at home longer through the use of cutting-edge technology. Moreover, through his healthcare entrepreneurial program; EPIC Start, an initiative from the EPIC project, he supported more than fifty students from Plymouth University, helping them set up their companies, define their business models, access funding opportunities and providing technical feedback during the initial prototyping stage.

Victoria Norman

CEO: Signum Health

Victoria Norman is the founder of Signum Health. Signum Health uses AI and cloud-based technology to deliver remote health care and support within local communities.
Victoria has over 18 years experience within the health and care sector, having previously worked in roles in both Primary Care and Public health across England and Wales. Victoria launched Signum Health in 2016, developing and delivering i-navigator, a social prescribing platform. Victoria also undertook a buyout of a company in 2016, raised 3 rounds of investment and recently was part of a successful collaboration for funding through the NHS Test Bed Programme.

Daniel Catt

Director Population Health Consulting: Cerner

Daniel Catt is Director of Consulting in Population Health at Cerner. His focus is on developing new business opportunities as well as delivering Cerner’s Population Health products and services across the UK and Europe. Daniel has been with Cerner for 13 years and has delivered numerous programmes ranging for large Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems through to specific decision support driven pathways. Prior to Cerner, Daniel worked in both the NHS and other international health services for over 8 years as a nurse and operational manager.

Louise Witts

Deputy CEO: South West Academic Health & Science Network

Louise has over 10 years’ experience working at a local and national level on NHS improvement programmes, with a focus on primary care development and working across organisational boundaries. With initial commercial sector experience, she has more recently been working with the Department of Health, NHS England, and at clinical commissioning group (CCG) and local authority level. Louise was an operational lead for the delivery of an integrated care model within a clinical commissioning group and understands the complexity of delivering change at a local level.

Chris Sawyer

Innovation Lead for Health & Care at Innovate UK.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the Healthcare technology sector. He has supported the development of new innovative technological solutions for NHS Innovation Hubs as well as being an Associate Director of Innovation for an NHS organisation.
